How do you feel the OU women would done against either of those teams on that stage ?

Personally I do not want to think or feel with regard to those consequences. UConn will come soon enough next year.

I think OU would match up better with Stanford than with the other 3 teams in the final four.

I agree. But I think we are completely out of that level, including Stanford. But on a given day, who knows.

We are one All-America first round draft pick away.

Still so confused by all the All American talks - you have one in Mulkey... Mississippi state has 0! Find the right kids that fit and play your butts off on defense the rest will take care of itself - or it sure did for Mississippi State. I guess I would just think this win would make every team in America realize nothing is out of reach I mean they beat Iowa state in overtime that's gotta make Fennelly and his staff feel good and OU beat Iowa state. Lots of of good things to look back on this season for all women's Bball but most just look at the bad. Buy in! Fill the stands and let's help OU get there.

Yeah, OU has some good wins, but also some bad losses. Many/some/few/only me think the program may be going in the wrong direction and changes need to be made NOW. Adding some new staff, change their recruiting ways. Do this either with or without Sherri Coale. I dunno about filling the stands again those days may be in the past and not to return..with the NBA junk in town.

Beat Baylor and Texas in the same year and seriously contend for the conference championship and you may not fill the stadium but would increase the butts in the seats 50-75% based on the opponent.

OU will never be a basketball school but they love big time winners. For the last six home games last year the men's team averaged about 11,750 tickets sold (up 27% over 2015) and about 9,250 actual (54%) attendance. Note the higher percentage for actual attendance. Much fewer no shows.

I don't see the WBB attendance approaching that of MB but I think the WBB could and would increase their tickets sold and actual attendance by similar percentages were they too become a big winner like Buddy's Boys were last year.

WBB does not list both sold seats and actual attendance figures. They only list sold seats on the box score. Quit providing both figures 2-3 years back. But if you extrapolate for 2017 the women average sold seat listed the last 6 games average actual attendance would be about 4,000 . A 50% increase would put attendance close to 6,000 in the seats/g and more for Baylor, Texas and OSU perhaps an additional 1,000-1,500. I think Joe C. would be thrilled with those numbers. But first we have to elevate the performance on the court. We need to win big.

I was referring to college All-Americans, not high school - also WNBA first round draft picks.

I agree with this statement, also Vivians might have been some type of all American coming out of high school. Miss st also have 3 future WNBA draft pick picks on there roster... I think Llanusa, Dungee and Mulkey all have draft potential, and can still get better with time...
