So one of you Thunder fans, tell me again why it was smart to keep Westbrook over Harden?

Harden over Curry is a crock.

And Westbrook needs to get more efficient and stable, but he did just average 27.7 points, 8.0 assists, 7.3 rebounds, 2.1 steals in the playoffs, becoming the first player EVER to average at least 26, 7, 8, and 1.5 in the postseason. Those #'s are just insane and you started to see him take less games/plays off on the defensive side of the ball. One way they can get him more efficient is having a better cast around him and Durant. He's forced to attempt to bail the offense out far too often. I look for them to go after Afllalo or Ariza, and maybe another vet min guy like Miller, Lee, etc. They have some exceptions to work with.

If they can improve the guys around him, Westbrook's ratio's and efficiency should tick up. Add in his physical ability to dominate a game, insane #'s he can put up, FT's making up for some of the shooting % numbers, there is just no way Harden is more valuable, especially given Harden is one of the worst defensive players in the league.

The Thunder are only a few ticks up in offensive efficiency (less TO's, FG%) and improving their roster (Adams over Perkins, Ariza/Afllalo over Thabo) to becoming clear favorites over the next number of years. They will have the best defensive front court outside of Chicago (if Gibson stays) for the next decade. Granted it all hinges on them staying together and other roster re-arrangements/improvements of other teams. Nobody will be standing still in the new NBA arms race style franchise building.

Westbrook not making 1st team is no surprise. But not making the 2nd or 3rd teams is a head scratcher. But hey congrats to Dragic, I always loved his game.

I also think Chris Paul is overrated. Give me Curry, Westbrook & Dragic over him anytime.

I'm sure Westbrook missed making a team due to only playing so few games. Paul also missed time, but not nearly as much.

Will really be interesting to see what Ballmer & Doc do with the Clippers. They will certainly be the most aggressive team out there. I understand adding Kaiser to the Thunder should bolster their finances but what % does he own? You couldn't expect him to subsidize any expenditure above his ownership interest.

Ballmer has $500 million per year in MSFT dividends burning a hole in his pocket. I think it's also very reasonable for him to expect these new punitive luxury taxes will be gone in 2017 when the players can opt out of this current crappy deal.

I think the Bulls might end up being the most aggressive team out there. One of Carmelo or Love are likely to end up in Chicago. The Bulls have stashed the picks to be aggressive. And they have a massive expiring contract (Boozer) to make a deal possible.

They're not a large market like Chicago or LA but the Suns are in an amazing position. They have 3 2014 first round draft picks (14, 18 & 27), a young athletic team that won 48 games last season out of nowhere and only $36 million in salary committed for next year and $7.5 million the year after. They also have the Lakers 1st round pick next year which might be pretty high.

It's amazing what their 34 year old GM has done with the Nash, Scola, Gortat, Lopez and Dudley trades. What a fast turnaround. Are you kidding me they got Bledsoe for Dudley? And Green, Plumlee & a 1st round pick for Scola? Two first round picks and two second round picks for Nash? The Wizards first round pick for Gortat? The Timberwolves first round pick (top 13 protected) for Lopez? lol lol lol

Come on Thunder peeps even Sam Presti is impressed as hell with that haul.
