Harden over Curry is a crock.
And Westbrook needs to get more efficient and stable, but he did just average 27.7 points, 8.0 assists, 7.3 rebounds, 2.1 steals in the playoffs, becoming the first player EVER to average at least 26, 7, 8, and 1.5 in the postseason. Those #'s are just insane and you started to see him take less games/plays off on the defensive side of the ball. One way they can get him more efficient is having a better cast around him and Durant. He's forced to attempt to bail the offense out far too often. I look for them to go after Afllalo or Ariza, and maybe another vet min guy like Miller, Lee, etc. They have some exceptions to work with.
If they can improve the guys around him, Westbrook's ratio's and efficiency should tick up. Add in his physical ability to dominate a game, insane #'s he can put up, FT's making up for some of the shooting % numbers, there is just no way Harden is more valuable, especially given Harden is one of the worst defensive players in the league.
The Thunder are only a few ticks up in offensive efficiency (less TO's, FG%) and improving their roster (Adams over Perkins, Ariza/Afllalo over Thabo) to becoming clear favorites over the next number of years. They will have the best defensive front court outside of Chicago (if Gibson stays) for the next decade. Granted it all hinges on them staying together and other roster re-arrangements/improvements of other teams. Nobody will be standing still in the new NBA arms race style franchise building.
