This should be hilarious... I am quite sure that this guy isnt any good, but it will be funny to see a 7'4'' 265 guy playing college basketball, especially against a small OU team. Their power forward is 6'9'' 225 Abner Morera, who averaged 6 points and 7 rebounds for them in his first year with the team.

They plan on getting 25 minutes a game out of him, so I guess we will get a heavy dose of this guy. The coach seems to think that he is good enough to draw double teams, but I have to imagine he is a stiff. He transferred from Central Florida and lost a bunch of weight. Should be interesting.

Here is a write-up I found on him.

He's 7'4" and plays for Idaho State...going to go out on a limb and say this guy sucks.

All of our guys should be licking their jobs to try to dunk over a 7'4" stiff, would make a great poster.

If he goes out and gets a double-double tonight, YOU'RE to blame. :)

I wouldn't be suprised if he scored 10 points, but if he can only hang for 25 minutes in an exhibition game, we should be able to run him out of the gym.

put James in and guard against the 7'4"players

I see he transferred from UCF where he got about 6 minutes and less than 2 points and less than 2 boards per game. Of course, that school has two Jordan sons to deal with, so if they're anything like daddy, there's probably not a lot of need for a center (or a lot of hope of getting passed the ball very much, hehe).

If I was two feet taller, I'd still be shorter than this guy. :(

haha, awesome.

That is my impression as well. However, he did score 20 in their exhibition win. But, it was against some place called Rocky Mountain College. Thats probably like the Tulsa Technology Center intramural squad or something.

It's got to suck to be 7'4" and not be good at basketball. You have to deal with all the crap, and don't even get a pay day out of it.

Yep, and the day and age of the "aircraft carrier" is over. 10 years ago guys like this would get drafted just because they are 7'4'', but they all turned out to be busts and people that big can't stay healthy, and often are limited in athletic ability.
