Texas A&M senior who graduates in a couple of weeks is looking to transfer (Rauol) from A&M. Blair is trying to talk her into staying. But, she seems somewhat adamant about leaving and playing her senior year elsewhere.

She would be an outstanding player to fill a one-year need for OU as a solid rebounder.

I don't know if there is even a chance. But, we could use her. She doesn't seem to want to stay and A&M despite the fact that Carter and Williams return as starters, Carter being their star freshman (22pts).

Howard would seem ideal to provide some experience to an amazingly young
roster.
She might get in the way of Madi Williams being the only negative. I'd still take her.

It seems that there are a lot of transfers this year. Many were locked under other players. I don't know that we want a sophomore transfer guard because we have guards coming in. A good rebounder or a post, maybe. We could probably use a one or two year post or power forward.

I notice that Hornfans seems to think that they won't go after anyone from Texas this year unless it is Scott or maybe the post, Jones. It is supposedly a down year for Texas.

Howard would be an AMAZING addition!! She's a better Sharane Campbell, in my opinion, and just the type of player SC said she'd like to still pick up, in addition to another player with some size, to complete this class. It would be too good to be true though, so i'm sure it wouldn't happen.

I really think she should pick up two grad students so that scholarships aren't tied up for the next class and then she can bring in another 4-5 person class after.

I suspect that we will know a lot more next week. Spring signing period is April 11 through May 16. Next Wednesday may reveal a direction.
