Anyone that thought Painter was leaving was drunk. He's not leaving his alma mater for Mizzou. Was never going to happen. I don't care what was being reported, it was false.

Think about it. If you were a head coach out there and had a decent job, would you want to come to Oklahoma?....a place that loves and supports football but doesn't support basketball. A place where you can have a 30-win season, have the number 1 pick in the NBA draft, get four guys drafted to the NBA in 4 years, and be fired after two bad years, one of which anybody with a brain could have seen coming?

I wouldn't.
