Since Sherri keeps recruiting McDonalds AA, I have to believe she thinks they would help the team. When some of you say we don't need them, you are in essence saying she's wasting her time, she really should be out looking for a diamond in the rough.

Have we ever signed a McDonalds AA who did not make us a better team?

1. Sylvias Fowles did not play for Baylor.
2. You have a remarkable tendency to attempt to define my points---incorrectly. You have a future in politics.

Well, 1 out of 2 for you isn't bad. Yep, Sophie Young played for Baylor, not Fowles. But, Young was much more productive in high school than Fowles, who was a McDs AA. Young would probably have made it except for the fact she was an exchange student.

That's a little confusing. One out of two? Let's see, the one that I got was that Sylvia went to LSU, not Baylor? The one that I "missed" was that Sophia Young "would have been a McDonald's All-American had she not been an exchange student?"

OU has had opportunities to win a NC and go further in the tournament, but did not choose to do things that are a must to even begin to have a chance...
1. Play from strengths based on match-ups...game to game.
2. Seniority should never be the reason a less skilled player plays
3. Post players must have diverse skills, develop them and then allow them to utilize them as the game and match-up dictate the need. There has been some improvement lately with Griffin's and McFarland's perimeter shooting.
4. Skilled coaches.
5. Consistent skilled coaching. A recent prime example from another team is how Mulkey was out coached by Walz. Plain and simple truth. OU has had talent and the advantage when it comes to match ups in previous years, but the coaching was not NC ready.
6. Recruit winners. They are born that way. Attitude is where it begins.

Unless lots of improvements and growth is made to keep up with the ever growing women's game...ain't gonna happen!
