Arizona State is trailing Utah, 30-2, with 6:05 left in the first half.

I don't care about the game, but that's the most lopsided first-half score I do believe I've ever encountered.

And...ASU makes it to double-digits with two seconds remaining in the half. 44-10.

I thought that was amazing and went to look at the box score and recap. Final score ended up being 81-46.

Looks like Utah did the same thing to ASU last season: "Nearly a year ago, 13th-ranked Utah held a similarly astounding halftime lead of 41-9 on its way to an 83-41 win over Arizona State."

That's the second in a week. BC was down 37-4 against Wake Forest. These are the types of scores you expect to see in 2A girls basketball, not D1 mens hoops.

And Utah is not a team I want to see in March. That big guy would wear us out inside.

What about last season when OU led Weber State 49-4?

Hey, I'm in my 50s -- I can't remember that far back!

Actually, my memory's fine, but I had forgotten that game, it's true. Thanks for the reminder!

Isn't Weber State also from Utah? Is there a blow out mentality regarding teams from Utah?

Yep - it's in a city north of Salt Lake City, I believe Ogden. That's also where current Portland superstar Damian Lillard played college ball before moving on to the NBA.
