As the dulcet tones of Doris Burke's voice come out of the TV, down goes the volume. Why is she so much more annoying when she does women's games?

I've learned to tune her out. But really she knows her stuff. I'd rather listen to her than some of these morons(Who was the guy on our mens game Sat?) I love watching UConn play.

I'm not stunned at all the walking. Overdone? Nice to see the game being called correctly.

Almost as impressive as UConn's starters are the players they have coming off the bench. Hard to imagine the National POY as a sub. And Kia Stokes, who I really like, is hurt.

Okay. I think we've heard "The Griner Effect" enough.

Eeek. Kara Lawson looks scary tonight!! Well the Coach is looking a bit rough too. HD is not their friend.

Was disappointed with the Lobo/Geno interview. They usually have a lot more tension than that.

If Griner threw Nicole down like she threw Dolson down, it would have broken bones. Dolson is a strong, muscular girl. That's probably the only thing that saved her from injury.

First Griner with the Flagrant. Now she throws Dolson down!

Thug ball at its finest...

Baylor had what, six chances on that trip? Geno going with the freshman at the point. I remember watching Lewis in the McDonalds game and thinking that's all UConn needs.

I was shocked that Doris said the second one should have been a foul.

That's okay. There's plenty of slurping to go around.

:ez-laugh:

I love games like this. There's basketball players allover the court.

Well they aren't going to call three seconds or walking on Griner there.

Don't forget the Griner Takedowns of Stephanie Dolson. Only a flagrant foul on one and no call on the other.

She looked terrible in the closeups. Makeup like Tammy Faye Baker, and when she grinned, there were wrinkles a half inch deep on the sides of her face.
