He got used a little on defense. But isu is a darn good team.
He needs all the mins he can get if we are winning. Going to be hard finding him court time with te upcoming schedule.
You have to think that if he's only playing 4 minutes a game when there is only 1 other true post player on the team, he's prolly not going to do anything next year when we are adding 3 more post players.
The way Spangler was playing yesterday and dominating on the boards why would you take him out if he wasn't tired. Sorry but the game dictates playing time. OU needed that game yesterday in a bad way.

Agreed. Bennett may not play much in some games. But his almost 10 minutes per game average for the season is a bigger contribution than some may think. The basketball season is so long bodies tend to wear down as we move toward post-season play. Players are also more susceptible to injuries when fatigue sets in. So, every minute a player like D. J. contributes is important in the effort to keep a player like Spangler from wearing down completely.
In other words, the basketball season is a marathon, not a sprint.
Agree Ada. Its going to be really hard to Spangler to be playing at the level he is now, 15-20 games from now. Every minute Bennett can come in a hold steady for ryan is just great. 10 mins per game is awesome if he can keep it up!
