3. If my editors don't mind, I need to pull back the curtain a bit. After the bracket is announced on Selection Sunday, we have to start filling ours out almost immediately to get you on the site. I went game-by-game, tried to avoid chalk and call my shots in a few places. Oklahoma is a team I like a lot, for its draw and having a few of the necessary qualities to being a "surprise" Final Four team. Oklahoma is very well-coached, plays great defense and a star in Buddy Hield, the Big 12 Player of the Year, who is good enough to carry the Sooners in a Carmelo-like manner. Plus, after a gut punch miss like this OU has to have some lucky bounces coming from the basketball gods.
