I don't get that KSU rating... I think they are gonna be pretty salty. They've got an excellent point guard and an excellent center... If you are really good at the 1 and the 5 spots, I don't know how you can be that bad.

Their PG had 26 against A&M, 17 against Tech, 22 against Texas, 18 against Baylor, 23 against TCU, 9 points and 9 assists against Oklahoma, etc... He was playing very high level basketball.

They can shoot.... they've got guards... They've got a ton of experience... they've got a point guard who could be a great player. I don't see how this team finishes 9th.

All 3 guards are double-figure scorers, and you've got a combo forward and a true center.

You use the word excellent way too liberally.

I think OU could Sampson-like surprise in Moser's first year playing great defense. Does Prince Fowler have any eligibility left?

I know we have a lot of new pieces this year and a new coach, but I'd be pretty disappointed in a 7th place finish. I feel like we are going to be a better team than that.

Probably true in this case.... but I think Pack and Bradford showed enough as true freshman.

They are good pieces and I agree they have a chance to be good players. But I think even KSU media members tend to think the team will likely be below the middle tier teams in the conference.

I sure would like to get out of that dreadful Wednesday night session in Kansas City for a change.

Though I think we will finish higher than 7th, and therefore this poll has us too low, I can see how an objective person would have us at least at the 6th spot. What I might disagree with in this poll is the positioning of TTU, as I would have OSU and WVa above them.

However, hard to argue against the top 3, and I think the bottom 3 are pretty well set as well. I think teams 4-7 are pretty evenly matched and could see us as high as 4th or we could finish in the 7th spot if the other three come out and play lights out compared to us.

A lot of new players and obviously a new coach and system makes it hard to predict. Regardless of preseason speculation, I think we will be a team come late February that comes together and finishes the season stronger than we have the last few years.

In any case, I am excited to see this season unfold. It could be one of the best 1-7 the Big XII has seen in a while.

With new coach and all these new players I dunno how anyone can honestly predict anything/

I think we’ll finish 4-5th. Ahead of tech and wvu. Even with Osu.

Can’t judge moser on this team. It has some flaws.

Thrown together in 2 months from the portal. They’ll be guys transfer out.

I except 2 more 2022 this month. 1 tomorrow if all goes as planned.

If OU finishes 4-5th, I don't think anyone will judge Coach Moser harshly.

Anything outside the top 3 is up for grabs.

Yea no kidding.... Top 4 finish would be considered an incredible season in this league for a first year coach.
