Well, it looks most probably like we'll end up in a 4th place tie with OSU. Since they have the tie breaker, we'll get the #5 seed and have to play them in the first Saturday game.

Should OSU lose to KSU In their final game, then we would be fourth and OSU fifth. We still would play them in the first game on Saturday.

We could move up to third if OSU loses and WVU loses to Iowa State (but I don't see that happening.

is Seanna Johnson gonna be bk vs West Virginia or why was she out? Where is the OSU game?

If Seanna Johnson is back I could see them having a chance to that game, especially if its at home. KSU could be a tough game for OSU- They play that zone well, could be difficult for OSU.

I have seen a family emergency and specifically another post referenced her
father having had a stroke. Haven't seen a projection of when she may be back.

I think the announcers said that she might be out until the tournament.

If we play like we did yesterday, we WILL beat OSU.

Of course, that's a roll-the-dice scenario.

I have to admit that my confidence in this squad is shaken. OSU has beaten us twice and the last time was butt-ugly.

I am just not sure we can do it, any more. Saturday Kay-Kay was the player. She shot lights out. She got help, but not that much really.

If they double her and Vivi down low, collapse, who can we count on, especially when Maddie doesn't even take a shot like Saturday?

This game is not going to be easy. I rate it a toss-up. A loss is likely to hurt the NCAA seeding too.

Everything is pointing to a badly needed, intense, review and overhaul of the program by Sherri and the staff in the off season. I hope it's done, no matter how we fair this weekend and in the dance.

Why isnt Maddie shooting? She is often, very often wide open. Sherri telling her not to shoot? Not pushing her to shoot? I dont understand.

If you watched Maddie, there was not one time when she was in the game in which she got the ball where it would have been a clear shot. I don't think the intent was for her to take a shot. She was there to do what she has been doing best, disrupting the offense of the opposition, rebound, and pass. Despite playing only about seventeen minutes, she did get about four rebounds and three steals, which led the team in steals. I think they were more concerned with getting the ball to Kay Kay in various ways (only some of which had to do with having her achieve a career day). They had various players in various positions try to feed Kay Kay. There wasn't a lot of work on other things.

I very much disagree. She passed up a number of wide open perimeter shots.

I watch the replay of the game, not having seen it live, while fully aware that Maddie had not taken a shot. I wondered why. I watched to see what opportunities that she had. I didn't see an opportunity where I would have taken a shot.
