ISU lost Christofferson. But, they retain the next eight scorers on the team.

I don't see a huge drop off in Baylor. Geeze, they are just reloading just like UConn, ND, and Stanford.

ISU is going to miss Christoffersom as much as we miss Ellenberg.

afraid you're right about baylor

I suspect that the loss of Sims will hurt Baylor significantly. I think Sims was the key to their title run. She made a major impression on me the way she played in Moscow against the best in the world. She was the best in Moscow.

I agree. I think she was what allowed Hypocrite U to be so dominant when Griner was on campus. They will still be good, just not as good IMO.

Baylor will miss Sims just like OU will miss Aaryn. Getting Prince back will help ease the pain. If their incoming freshmen are anything like Nina Davis, they will bounce back pretty well.

I think Kelsi Baker is returning as well, since she was injured. I think I heard that on TT TV broadcast during the last few weeks of season.

After looking at who returns, along with what was lost, I have the impression that Texas, Iowa State, Baylor, and Kansas have a lot coming back. But, Baylor and Iowa State also lost a key player. Texas hasn't quite taken that step up to the next level yet, and you wonder if they will do it with what they have coming back and the addition of Atkins.

TCU has a lot back, but they lost what made them competitive in the first place, Lovings. K-State has Romero which is a good place to start. OSU lost Bias and Suttles, and I don't know how they'll do without Bias. WV lost a lot.

I don't see a top five type team. I might see Texas as a 10-15 team with Baylor in that area somewhere, just behind. I think they'll miss Sims. I'm not sure how Iowa State will do without Christofferson. She kind of made the outside effective. But, they could be around #20. I think OSU and WV got hurt enough to put them at the bottom of the top twenty-five.

Kansas has enough back to be formidable, a potential Sweet Sixteen team again. I just don't see anything at TCU, Tech, or K-State (other than Romero).

I don't know where we will fit. I could see anywhere from about #40 to #15. If we are better than that, Maddie, Peyton, and Gibbs are good.

I see Baylor being in the top 10 and West Virginia and Texas in the top 15. I think they could all be higher but this is being conservative. I don't see any other team finishing the regular season in the top 15 with the possibility of Oklahoma, because you never know with them.
