I don't remember which TV commentator mentioned the idea but I liked it. It would be pretty cool to see Pledger, Paige, etc. battle at the Big XII tournament.

When he mentioned that, he had just complemented Lon on what a great player he was in the Big 8. I though he would going to suggest a 3 Point Contest among the coaches. Barnes would have to have a sub, I guess. :ez-laugh:

Has anything like this ever happened?

There's an NCAA three point/dunk contest every year before the final four (seniors only). I'd love to see a conference version, as well.
