Interesting. Never realized we pursued him out of high school.

Pursue is a little strong. He would have been a better offer than Naismith or Early though, but hindsight is 20/20. He had a solid freshman year at GW as their sixth man. It looked as if he would start, but I guess he got in the doghouse early and transfered.

We did have an open ship for him. I don't know what the story is talking about, and would guess that he never had anything more than a conditional offer.
