I don't know if it has been posted yet but looks like Blake hurt his knee on that monster dunk the other night and may not play in the opener.

I often hurt myself dunking as well....

Looks like he's out a month and half with a fractured knee cap.

Not good news for Blake, and also all the OU fans who bought tickets to the Clips-Thunder game on Nov. 15 just to see Blake.

*Raises his hand*

It was going to be my first Thunder game ever...

I haven't seen this reported yet, where did you see it?
Capel announced it at the tip in club.

I am in the same boat, had bought a nice ticket to go see Blake the Thunder, I feel upset now.

Soooo--is the dreaded "injury prone" tag going to be hung on BG now? Or maybe, he is in fact injury prone?

As much as I hate to say it. A high flier at 6-10ish and 250lbs--with his work ethic and off-season regimen. Man, that might be more pounding than the ole human body can absorb over prolonged periods of time??? Just saying. Not many folks with his unique physical attributes to look at as a benchmark.

In any event, it hasn't started out too well with the Clip's injury wise. I hope this is just an anomaly. The question is, how will he hold up over a BRUTAL 82 game NBA regular season??

The Clippers play 20 games in the first 6 weeks so Griffin will miss at least 1/4 of the season.
