I like how that quote from Travis highlights his inability to recruit quality individuals.

Also, it shows his ignorance as Texas is a far younger team than Okie State and they play in the same conference.

Not to mention youth is quite clearly a handicap. Whatever happened to Calipari's UK team last season? Finish 2nd to last in SEC?

I don't think OSU is remotely the youngest team in the Big XII or the country. Texas is clearly younger than OSU. Tech is arguably younger with only 1 senior (but more juniors than OSU). Kentucky is younger. I am sure there are lots of teams that are younger than OSU. They really aren't all that young. They only have four freshman on the team.

Well maybe if he would stop running off guys like Shaw, Gulley, Penn, Franklin, and Dowell...and actually fill up his roster..they wouldn't be so young. He should have expected Williams to not have been there whether he was found innocent or guilty..he should have prepared for the worse. From a 7 man recruiting class in 2009...not one player remains. This all falls on him.

Kentucky is definitely younger than OSU. They're the only school in a Big Six (BCS) conference that doesn't return a starter from last year.

Ford is just making his excuses early for when they flop later.
