Buddy in a boot after the KSU game

I read in a Newsok article that Buddy was in a walking boot after the game. Has he been doing this all season? Gary? He seemed to be limping at times during the ISU game. Is it still a problem with his foot?

As far as I know it is something new. I plan on swinging by practice tomorrow.

He was limping during the ISU game. I never heard why. Are they related?

He went out in the first half against Iowa State limping after a play. Then came back a little later and played fine. I did notice after he came back that he had a band around his knee. Didn't remember seeing that before he went to the locker room. Doesn't mean it hasn't been there all season, I could have just never paid attention to it. But if that was a knee problem, I would say walking in a boot is something different. But I have no inside information, just what I saw from my seat behind the bench against ISU.

Didn't he get kicked in the shin during ISU game and leave the court for a while? If he's still having issues with that I don't know if a boot would help that injury but I'm just guessing.

I was at the game and only knew that he went to the locker room and returned later with a limp for the remainder of the game.

My sister called me during the game Tuesday night and asked what was wrong with him as she'd seen him in a boot the day before. Also, she texted me last night saying she was playing basketball with him at the Huff. I guess the boot was just precautionary?

Great news, C&C! Thanks for sharing that information. We need a healthy Buddy Hield for Saturday's game if we're to have a decent chance of coming away with a win.

I also asked about the boot today. He has some soreness and it is precautionary. I was also told that last year Osby was in a boot most of the season anytime he wasn't in the gym or at home.

Buddy looked fine at practice today.
