7-7 from deep. Liked it that it was made up in different ways too. Off the bounce, transition and catch and shoot.

He is so impressive. He'll be remembered as one of the great OU guards.

As I said in the game thread, he shot 2 for 9 inside the arc. When he has to face a team that plays perimeter defense, he better be able to score from somewhere beside beyond the arc.

I'm actually on the other side of this. I think Buddy is sloppy in traffic with the ball. With the last two years, and even though it's REALLY early this year, I've seen signs of the same. So I say, keep shooting it. I know LK was quoted as saying he hoped Buddy would show more balance in his game this year, but I'm guessing he ends the season pretty close to last year in terms of percentage of shots that are three pointers.

Also, I think it's easier to get good open perimeter shots, as opposed to other types of shots, against good D. Just the way the game is played, it's really not difficult to get an open three if that is the shot a team wants. As long as he keeps knocking them down, I hope he keeps putting them up.

And it's not like he was just standing alone for a lot of those shots today. He was shooting them off the dribble with hands in his face.
