Sorry to all the fire Kruger thread types, but I would like to discuss something more rational (maybe). I have never seriously considered Buddy as an early entry candidate but seeing his mom traveling with the team recently has me thinking these are his last days at OU. Whatever his future holds I wish him the best. Good game tonight Buddy, now please beat Kansas and win the Big 12 tourney!

He's a good college guard that can go on shooting streaks taking over a game.

Has bad hands, poor grip on ball sometimes.

Below average handles.

Bad shot selection at times.

Has great size and underrated athleticism

Will have a fun life overseas playing ball

Agree on all points

Buddy can be a really good to great defender (anybody remember his freshman year ?) but these last 2 years it has taken a backseat to his offensive game. Hopefully when the time comes he can really work on that portion of his game cause he can be a difference maker and play a long time professionally just based on that.

I definitely think he's gone. Sure he can improve his handles and fine tune some more things but he's playing at a tremendous level right now. I could see him staying in the league for quite a few years with the right situation or be overseas after a year or two. Either way he will be successful, he just seems like he would be at anything he did.

1)Leads the Big 12 in scoring

2) Up for player of the year Top 20 Wooden Award

3) Draws the attention of every team he plays and has there best defensive player on him with help defense

4) Great scorer and rebounder

Just an overall good guy and teammate fun to watch

Do you enjoy watching him as much as Tisdale? King? Brewer? Eduardo? Hollis?

I just don't think Buddy is on that level, regardless of his numbers.

No but he has one huge advantage over Hollis. Size.

Yea..... think how good he'd be if he improved what all i listed.

Your post did not make what i said untrue. Tool

It's pretty obvious this is it for Buddy, but I think it's a mistake.

Only agree with that partially after playing in the league for awhile then Europe will be an option.

He has somethings to work on true Steph Curry definitely wasn't to same ball handler he was in Davidson and he was considered to small and weak to play at the next level.

And I'd say Hollis had a big advantage over Buddy. Heart.

Get out of here.

Buddy, and the team, have plenty of heart. They didn't quit, they were just overwhelmed, and are led by a coach who had zero answers tonight.

I also think Buddy has a legit shot at an NBA career. The two guard is the weakest position in the NBA right now. It just takes one coach who likes him to get that shot.

I agree Sperry I seen the guys who Buddy plays against in the Big 12 the toughest league in college basketball and Buddy is the leading scorer doesn't that count for something 26 tonight and Buddy still can't get no love.

He played with plenty of heart tonight and whether he leaves or not he comes to play. A little tweaking his game and he will be a contributor at the next level.

Buddy's a good dude.. but comparing him to steph is crazy..

buddy's a shooter.. but steph is a dang assassin..also had way better Handles and was light years ahead at taking the ball to the rim.

Buddy won't play one regular season game in the nba. But he will find somewhere over seas for sure!

Not comparing him showing you a point Steph wasn't the great ball handler just a shooter and he was considered to small and to weak to play in the NBA

He's not Steph Curry, but he's also plenty good enough to play in the NBA. Dismissing a guy who has reasonable NBA size, plays a position of need, and can light up the scoreboard is beyond foolish.

If Jody Meeks can play in the NBA the Buddy Hield can play in the NBA period
