Buddy's Future

I agree Sperry I seen the guys who Buddy plays against in the Big 12 the toughest league in college basketball and Buddy is the leading scorer doesn't that count for something 26 tonight and Buddy still can't get no love.
He played with plenty of heart tonight and whether he leaves or not he comes to play. A little tweaking his game and he will be a contributor at the next level.

Buddy has been the benefactor of as much or more love from OU fans as any player in my recent memory. He gets it because he deserves it. Yet, you continue to say things like he "can't get no love," which is not only unfair, it simply is not true.

Disagreeing with you or saying Buddy would benefit from another season at OU has nothing to do with love or respect. I'd dare say every OU fan on this board would like nothing better than to see him have a long, successful career at the next level. If he leaves after this season, I will be among a host of fans who will wish him well. It's a decision he and his advisors will have to make in the near future. I just hope it's the right one for Buddy's sake.

I agree. I'd be happy for Buddy either way. If he came back it'd only be because he thought he could improve his draft stock, which is an iffy prospect. It can mean several million dollars over three years, however, if you can jump into the top twenty, as compared to being at the tail end of round one.

He's a good student. Can he get stronger physically while getting a degree? Being able to finish in traffic at the rim is a trait they're looking for in shooting guards. Buddy has that potential although he's not quite there yet.

That's all you extrapolated from my post geez take a look at another thread where they are making comparison of George Niiang as a demi god. For clarity let me make some salient points so you will be able to glean over what I have said to get my point and I won't be doing that while calling persons names and being dismissive of their opinions.

1) Buddy is the leader scorer in the toughest league in college basketall

2) Teams send there best players and set up defensive schemes to limit him

3) Candidate for player of year Wooden Award

Buddy needs to work on some weaknesses of his game just like most college players who need to make adjustments but the way some persons talk about Buddy as a player you would swear this kid doesn't have a snowballs chance of getting in the league.

If he stays good for him but if he goes he will make it!

My opinion just like you have yours
