Buzz Williams!!!

I would love to see his hilarious dance everytime OU wins if hired!
 
He has a tough game against "my guy" - Chris Mack. I think Xavier takes Marquette to the woodshed.
 
I hope you guys hire him. I hated that guy when Mizzou played Marquette in the tournament a couple years ago. He's the kind of coach that makes rivalries fun.

I just think he would be great getting the students/crowd into it.
 
I like a lot of what I read about him. He seems like a good coach. He did take over a program that Tom Crean had going good, but he's done a good job with it winning 20 games every year in a tough conference. He's from this area. Seems like a really exciting coach.
 
Would be very excited about this hire, although one could argue that Marquette is a better job than OU at this time.

Hopefully he wants to get back to the south, good weather, nice people, and solid connections in the area.

I don't know if it's much better. It may be a little easier to win at OU because the Big East is so tough right now.

That's a good point;however, the Big 12-2 is going to be tough sledding. Solid coaches everywhere except @ OU, Tech, OSU.
 
Tech may now have Gillespie. I'm not saying the Big X is easy by any means. But it's still a conference that's easier to win than the Big East which has 20 teams and half of them are going to the Dance this year. They might have 8 or 9 next year.
 
Sounds like some of you just want to hire him because he is animated on the sideline....Sorry, that does nothing for me.

He has connections in the area and has been dancing the last three years in a tougher league than ours.
That's why I want him.

If he can win 20+ games in the Big East then he could definitely win in the Big 12!

Hey guys, I don't ever post (just kind of lurk) but I was just wondering what the chances are that Buzz gives us a look? I've read his name being mentioned, obviously with Gillespie, etc. and this would be sort of intriguing. Is he open to leaving Marquette? Thanks.
