KU choked big time and deserve to be ridiculed. I was at the game and it was horrible. I could see it coming though, KU basically did just enough to win most games and developed some terrible habits along the way. UNI was the absolute worst matchup for KU because they shoot the heck out of it, slow the game down, never turn the ball over, and make all their FT's. They were the better team today.

At the end of the day, however, KU was still Big 12 Regular Season and Tournament champs so it's not like the season was a total waste.

Wow! I am sorry if I offend you, I forget that I do not know you guys, and many of you are not basketball people so you take things the wrong way. We joke about this stuff all the time. It is meant as a joke, but reading your posts make it easy to see you are not someone around basketball outside of watching in the stands.

Also, just so you know, I have seen first hand, and had D-1 coaches tell me if so and so was black they would be playing at a big time school.

We say that kind of stuff as jokes because the guys on teams like UNI would not get a second look at a lot of bigtime schools. Anyone that takes comments like I said personally did not spend time in a locker room or play sports with enough guys to know how things work, or how players and coaches talk about things.

the overall #1 seed didn't make it to the sweet 16 and got beat my a #9 seed. THats pretty bad man. granted they did have the toughest bracket and NI is a heck of a team.

So there you go again. D-1 coaches telling you that doesn't make it legit. You have a very strange mindset. Do you have any black friends. You may need to set down with them and get you lined out. I'm concerned for you my friend because I played highschool basketball. I've been in the lockeroom, but my friend this is not a basketball issue. I really hope you consult with some of your friends. They don't even have to be black. Don't worry about offending me. I just wouldn't want you say something very insensitive around a group of any minority citizens. They may be educated and not listen to you or you could get the beat down. I really don't hope for the latter. BOOMER SOONER BABY!!!

I find this post more disturbing than anything tallandsexy has said in this thread. The implied sentiment here is very very odd.
