Seems like a great kid..hopefully he can contribute. UCONN could use him w/ his 34 ACT...ha
Is this like when Capel said he was surprised we contacted him for an interview? Never a good situation. I hope this one turns out better.

You can afford to take a flier on a couple kids like this every now and then. Worst case scenario you have a smart kid sitting at the end of the bench for four years who then goes out and represents OU well for the next several decades.

Plus he enters as a preferred walk-on. He may not ever get a 'ship if he doesn't earn it.

He is also a 6'7" with a 36 inch verticle and a knack for rebounding the ball. A good staring place and reportedly they are going to take a year to develope his game.
I don't see anything but upside with this recruit.
