Kruger opened the door kicked him to the curb turned left drove 1 mile and drove the team bus straight off the cliff.

Team was flat after the decision terrible mistake. Fitz and pledger back to old form.

Needed his street swag on this team.

Fitzgerald and Pledger are both going to finish their careers at OU well within the top 20 all time scorers. They are not the problem. Even if you argue they get too many minutes and that inflates their scoring average, they both clearly belong at a Big XII level.

Didn't see either step up during one of our last what 10 losing efforts when we led for 25 or 30 minutes. Fitz was as highly ranked as thomas robinson and was the better player on the same high school team or league. One transformed himself into a lotto the other into a d league reserve.

Actually, I doubt Fitzgerald is a D League player. I think he is a lower level than the NBA D league. Regardless, he is not the problem. The problem is OU essentially has 8 D-1 level eligible players and arguably one or two of them should be the 12th and 13th players on a Big XII team.

I don't care what you think of Fitzgerald, he is a solid Big XII level player. Maybe OU needs an upgrade at PF/C but Fitzgerald would be a very good bench player and made All Big XII honorable mention as a sophomore. Pledger was honorable mention All Big XII this year.

OU's problems were at guard. Fitzgerald and Pledger were probably our 2 best players for the first 3/4 of the season. Roe stepped up late in the year a little more. But Cam Clark wasn't a factor for most of the season. Grooms is a good PG but just doesn't score, which is really what we needed. Even in games where he scored some points it took a ton of shot. 12 shots for 13 points tonight, 9 shots for 10 points against OSU. Not efficient scoring at all for our PG.

Their inflated minutes is more than balanced out by their lack of post season games. Which, when all is said and done, wherever they finish in the scoring rankings will make it even more impressive.
