Sure hope so. He was "Osby-espue" last night, that's for sure. Cam is having a good year. If he continues to perform at a high level, it could go a long way in offsetting the loss of Romero.
To be honest, despite Ro's absence, I think this team has the potential to be better than last year. The only area we're not better is in our post depth. Cam and our guards have been doing a great job so far of defending and rebounding to fill the void. But, with our depth in the post as low as it's been in sometime, we're one injury (God forbid) away from being in a heap of hurt in our frontcourt
The only problem with Cam is he will have a great game and the next game he maybe non existent. Hopefully he will be more consistent this year, he is a valuable piece to this team, but we need him every game.

My exact concerns with Cam. Ever since he has been here, he has had moments of brilliance like this last game. The problem has always been the consistency. So far that looks much improved this year.
I agree with you Ada. I think this team IS better than last year. I believe that in the college level these days, you live and die with guard play. Is it easier to win with 3 great guards and okay forwards, or 2 great forwards and okay guards? Not saying our guards and forwards meet these specifications but it is an interesting debate that I have thought about. And I hate looking too far forward but with the recruits we have coming in next year, it isn't hard to be really excited. But right now, present day, this team is solid and better than what they were at this time last year.
Cam is actually playing consistent!!! He could play himself into the draft with the stats he is currently putting up!!! He has all the tools to do it!!!!
