This problem isnt endemic to just Capel and OU, however yes the more established and prestigious the coach is the more power he will have over these top level AAU trained prospects. Calipari, probably one of the best at bringing in top level kids, still had trouble with John Wall this year. Jay Wright at a point in time was scared off from going after top 50 level kids just because of the attitude that can accompany a lot of them.
