Being a coach and a friend is a tough thing to do. I don't think coaches should worry about how much a player likes them but rather how much their players respect them. Being liked and being respected can turn out different results. However it has to go down to get the players to respond and I'm all for it. We've got some talent. Just have to figure out a way to get them to produce. I predict that the offseason will be played out a bit differently this summer. At least I hope so. Capel has to demand the respect and our players need to get in there and demand his respect as well. It has to go both ways. Players have to earn the respect title just as much as the coach does. So, they had a bad year. I'm all for supporting Capel and giving this team a chance to redeem itself. Next year is a new season. However, we still have a game/games to play. It's not over until the last play goes down. Supporting our team until the end and then we can focus on getting ready for next season.
