Grooms is leading the league in assists and assists to turn overs. I don't agree that he is a problem. I hope he scores a little more next season but he is a respectable point.
He is not terrible. He just isn't one of the top 12 pg in the conference. If his role was limited to playing backup pg for about 7 minutes a game he would be a nice role player. The problem with Blair is he is being asked/forced to do things beyond his ability.
I don't want to turn this into a Grooms bashing post too, but how many starting "point guards" in the Big 12 would you take Grooms over? My guess is not many.
Blair just seems to be a low basketball IQ guy. At this point, there is no other way to so it. His skill set is decent enough for a backup pg, but he just seems to make too many bone headed plays at critical points in games.

I disagree. He has too many unforced errors and cannot score when needed to play 7 minutes a game. He can't be trusted with the ball at this level. He could play 7 minutes a game for a mid-major, but would be better served playing D-2 or D-3, IMO.
