effing regents, always screwing the Ath. dept. up. The "hire a coach to clean up a program" has already failed here more than once. Just hire the best coach, try to prevent any cheating and do damage control when it happens. We live in a nation of cheaters, it can't be stamped out.

Capel screwed us. Not only did he leave little talent, we have this NCAA investigation that is going to keep some good coaches an arm length away.
They should make him file a lawsuit to get his money. Force him to spend some of it on an attorney.

Either way, saying we should make Capel file a lawsuit for his money would be terrible on the coaching search, terrible for the image of OU Athletics, and an embarrassment to a coach who worked his ass off for this university for 5 years. It's nothing more than pure stupidity, and I'm not surprised that you would support that manner of thinking.
None of the relevant facts of the loan for Tiny are in dispute. There can be no excuse for the national communists against athletes to delay a decision other than a pure power play just to show who is boss. I f you want to show power, then do something totally unjust, unfair and blatantly obvious (delay)in a way that says, "So what?".
