For SC and OU's sakes, I hope she's better than Manning was, or at least more consistent..

The Maddie Manning that started in the Honolulu Christmas tournament as a freshman would have been one of the top three to five players in OU history. She had the quickness of a point, and could jump with the posts. Two ACLs later, she was still the best all-around player on the team. She was the one who shut down a very good Atkins completely for a win over Texas, as well as holding Donohue scoreless for a win over OSU. She won a road game at TCU by taking over a game to dig us out of a hole.
She just wasn't what we had hoped. She wasn't what she hoped. But, she survived two ACLs and another injury requiring a cast twice.
Bloom is an entirely different player. She isn't a guard. She is a post or power forward, and a good one. She isn't a point forward. You look at the entire team to see who will fit with Bloom.
