Clarke headed to Butler

Glad that you found what I said funny enough to include your usual condescending...LOL. Anyway, SOONERFAN TU, you and I have never agreed upon much, other than we both loved KS. In fact, I have loved every coach at my alma mater, because I love everything Sooner. But that is just me. You can talk about Capel until your heart skips a beat dude. Whatever keeps your personal boat afloat.

It just becomes immature and nerve racking when someone clicks on a thread, totally unrelated to Capel, and the same 2 or 3 posters find a way to inject their Jc hatred into it. I know that suits your agenda, so have at it!!! I have never needed you or any of the other so-called hoops experts approval for anything that I do.

You keep obsessing along with your other crew members, and I'll keep avoiding you as I have since the season ended. Have youeself a WONDERFUL evening........

question.. i read on swaim's(i know...) twitter, that this was a big neg. on kruger and ou... because clarke had been working out with the sooners all summer... anyone know if that last part is true??

"After reportedly considering Oklahoma strongly, Rotnei Clarke decided to transfer to Butler. The 6-foot Oklahoma native, who has been methodical with his recruitment after finally being released by Mike Anderson and Arkansas in June, made the decision on Monday. ... Clarke was leaning toward committing to Lon Kruger and the Sooners. However, sources told CBSSports.com the uncertainty regarding whether the Sooners would face any NCAA sanctions in the wake of an investigation swayed Clarke to Butler. "I really believe Coach Kruger will turn the program around quickly," Clarke said. "And while I was told that the NCAA decision wouldn't affect me, it wasn't guaranteed. I didn't know that for sure -- and didn't want to go there without knowing 100 percent."

those of us who remember Clarke's keen sense of "team" and "sportsmanship" will refrain from further comment.

It's a shame, he would have been a very good get. Certainly better than anyone we have on the roster currently, with the possible exception of Osby.

Yeah, it seems like an incongruous fit with all that Butler represents.

Maybe Butler can turn his attitude around.

He may not still had the choice to come to Norman. Giving up a scholarship for a one year guy is a big deal.

Anyone who knows the story is welcome to come forward

the story is rotnei wasnt 'at peace' with the situation, and he left. hog fans are pissed but can care freakin less too. the reason he didnt go to OU is because yall have crap goin on that he didnt wanna be involved with. im sure all you ou fans are PO because homeboy let you down once again. im also sure you were gettin ready to praise him again. ha.

Hog Ebonics I guess.......

The Arkansas fans really had their little feelings hurt over the Rotnie deal. It was that once a Razorback always a Razorback deal. They felt jilted and betrayed.
