Good lord. Stop saying troll. If someone has even basic contacts in Owasso that isn't difficult info to find out.
Just because I call it like it is doesn't make me a troll. Shake and Trier are legit prospects from the state. The rest are guys you want at best to be role players. I'm fine with role players, but other than Buddy (maybe) that is all Lon is bringing in.

I can't confirm that Shake is a big time Texas fan but I can confirm that his dad was. Myron always had his Texas hoody on in the winter months.
I hope OU gets Shake. He is a great kid with what I Think is the biggest ceiling in the state.

And would he choose not to go to OU just because he is a longhorn fan. What if longhorns don't offer him or he waits to late and they pull the offer. I know several, non athletes, students that go to other schools they did cheer for growing up.

I'm just warning you that he grew up in a strong anti-Sooner household and it will be very very dificult to overcome. As in if he has any other reasonable quality offers we have a minimal shot if any.
So was Adrian Peterson.

I agree with BrettRomar: Shake has the highest ceiling of any kid in the state, and maybe in a while. Barring mental detour, kid is going to be big time, and if he grows some, he is going to be a superstar. Again, I dont' know the kid and this all assumes he isn't and/or doesn't become a head case.
If you haven't seen him play, you have really missed it. We don't get them in Oklahoma like this kid very often.
Would be shocked if the kid didn't have tons of options. But, we are on the upswing, and have a couple years to recruit him, so we will have a reasonable chance.

Cousins, Spangler, and Woodard are more than role players. The jury is still out on Booker and Hornbeak. M'Baye was more than a role player. Lattin and Buford are almost certainly more than role players. The jury is still out on McNeace.

For what it's worth, my daughter is a trainer for Owasso athletics...I asked her where Shake wants to go to school. She knows nothing about this thread and I said nothing about Texas. She said "I think Texas. He's being recruited by everybody."
