I think it will be better to aggregate all the class offers in one post so I will move all the 27 offers into this thread.

Maddie is a 6’1” PF/W from Topeka. She has offers from several Power 4 teams. Played softball when she was younger and is a big fan of Patty and OU.

Visiting for the Maine game...so that probably means we will have several younger recruits in for unofficial visits that game:

Harper Dunn is a 6’6” C from Corona, New Mexico. Her step mother is former OU C Beky Preston. Per the below article she has picked up at least 10 Power 4 offers this summer and has made an unofficial visit to OU.

De’Andra is a 6’ G from OKC. Ranked in top 20 nationally…next really highly ranked player from Oklahoma.

The hits keep coming. Kansas recruits stay home, Oklahoma ones leave.

I went through the ESPN top 100 ranking for 2025…98 of the 100 have signed with teams…only 13 out of the 98 signed with an in state team. Our signing of 1 out of 8 is about the norm these days.

Not all states are equal. Oklahoma has 2 schools, and most kids grow up OU fans. So the fact OU only landed 1 is not good. The SEC schools are great at landing top talent. OU needs to get close to that level.

I agree we have to get more top talent if we want to reach final fours. And not getting Parks was a big disappointment as we put a significant effort into her that would have been better spent on other recruits. But it is clear that top recruits go out of state very frequently…you can’t count on that to win recruits.

Last 2 years Jennie has won big on transfers…we need to do that again with Beers and Verhulst being seniors. Need a high level guard and a high level Post or PF preferably with 2 or 3 years of eligibility to help transition past Verhulst/Beers.

sure you want oklahoma kids to stay home but Id rather fight tenn, uconn, texas etc for kids and not play games with locals with KU and KSu etc.

The three I want are Long, Dunn, and Minor. I would have said Vickery. Except she is off the board.

Class of 27 5’10” SG from Dallas suburbs. I don’t think we have offered yet but we had her in for an unofficial visit for the Georgia game.
