Look, I’ve made known that I feel it’s time to move on to a new coach. And while I know the anger that Moser is still here is palatable, and the discussion why continues, he’s our coach and we have games left to play. Onto the discussion about the Crown…

In CO this week on business and going to catch the game at a pub somewhere here in Greenwood Village. And hate to look past any opponent with this group, but hoping other teams have opt out issues.

And regardless of the coach or NIL or arena, since the team made the trek to Vegas, as they say in Major League, might as well win the whole damn thing.

I read something that said OU women are top 5 in sec NIL. There is a woman from Iowa who bank rolls Coach B. Not too many coaches bring their own BMDs (BYOBMD$)! It is really impressive and OU better not let Jennie B leave.

It would take probably another $5-10 million for OU men to get to top 5. Don’t see that happening with how hungry the football program is.

Sadly.. we just shouldn't be spending any, or absolutely minimal, money on women's sports. They simply don't make money. Disagree? Put your money where your mouth is and invest a good chunk of your portfolio in the wnba? Lol. Its sad. But there is just no reason

I feel like the consolation tourneys generally come down to motivation. The "best" teams may not care because they are bummed they missed the real tourney, whereas teams from smaller leagues or teams that were never in the tourney discussion might come in hungry. But to your point, with all of CU's defections, there is no question we will have far more talent on the floor tomorrow.

I'm not making anything up. The fake quote I included was clearly fake.

My take away from watching it isn't though. I don't like the man. I don't like the way he talks. I don't like the things he says. I don't like the things he doesn't say. We're talking about a guy with over 20 years of HC experience that is well under .500 in conference play. Not one GOOD coach in the history of the game has that stat, yet after 20+ years some of you want to defend him until the end. He needs to be a man and take responsibility for the resume he has put together, both at OU and before. He needs to look inward for what needs to change, not constantly looking for handouts to mask his inability to coach.

The day that man leaves OU will be one of the happier OU sports days of my life. That is how little I think of PoMo as a coach.

Every thing you said here is valid an accurate. All I'm saying is, in this singular interview he was positive about Denny, positive about getting to work with the guys everyday and even when Trammell tried baiting him he still didn't poke at the university and stated, as the question was posed, that mid majors and teams with less NIL will largely be at a disadvantage, That this is the new landscape of college basketball. I can see how this positivity in the face of how he has performed would be irritating too.

That said, if Trammell had asked something along the lines of "Do you think an increase in resources will correlate to more success on the court here at OU?" I absolutely expect that Moser should take ownership and responsibility for the product he's been rolling out. Especially this season, where this team underperformed more than any of his team at OU. He's dodged that ownership and responsibility so far to date.

It would be akin to saying the goalie does everything right to keep the puck out of the net enough to compete for championships. Plus, that’s all a goalie really does is protect the net.

If you look at career wins, Dick Motta is in the NBA top 15. A lot of teams hired him as their HC. He also lost 1000 games. But you couldn’t argue he didn’t “win” or couldn’t coach. He just didn’t win enough to win championships.

A HC, especially in college sports, has more than one part to his job. Unlike a goalie. Moser does most of them well. Even wins.

He just doesn’t win enough.

I think winning when it matters plays a big factor. And he doesn't do that good enough. You can't beat up on lesser competition and lose to your peers and be called a winner.
