When I compare the women's basketball team's performance over the last several years with that of the softball team and the gymnastics team they dont come out very well. Gasso came from as far down as Sherri (not quite but close enough for a comparison) and Kindler didnt start from that high up in the conference standings. The basketball program has been getting in worse shape every year and has reached a condition to be pitied now. It may pull out of it but, even if it does, it's not going to challenge for a conference championship much make any noise on a national level. Nor do I see any prospect for such.
