Early on I thought WVU would be a team that could easily finish in the top 3 of the conference along with Baylor and Texas. Right now, there is very little difference between WVU, OSU, Tech, KSU, ISU, TCU, and Texas. I could probably add KU as well.

With WVU and Texas losing more games than expected, it has benefited OU as we are the only team that is doing better than I expected.

I'm a little surprised TCU has done as well as they have. Coach needs a couple of more years to get the slate cleaned and bring her recruits in.

First...the season is not over yet, more surprises could happen.
The biggest surprise is how well the young Sooners have done. Baylor a little better, and Kstate + TTech a little stronger than thought. But Texas nosedived way more than injuries can be blamed for, and WV sometimes looks like the #3 prediction, but often looks like the 6-9 place team they are. And I agree TCU has played well with what they got.
But I am rooting for OU to finish second; let Baylor sleep through the conference tourney and allow OU to win the conference championship (TOURNEY) which does count.

I agree with Texas being so flat with the abundance of talent on that team. I think it boils down to Aston can recruit but lacks in coaching ability for now. Like OU, we are very young and it takes a great coach to mold and motivate in order to extract the very best from each player.

I wish we could sit out the conference tourney cuz I really don't want to play Texas again!
