Now that we know that Brewer is back in Norman to finish up his degree. Let's hear some thoughts/memories of one my all time favorite Sooners.

The thing I remember most about Corey Brewer was his toughness. He played the game hard all the time, could rebound very well for a guard, hit clutch shots and free throws, but it was his toughness that made him great. He gave Eduardo a run for his money in the toughness department!

Great Sooner.

Welcome back home, CB!

I used to throw up the Omega on the court after doin someone up dirty in honor of CB.

The comeback vs. Iowa State in '98. Fizer & co. had us by the stones late, but Brewer just would NOT let us lose that game.

I was there!

There's a picture of Brewer doing the "Omega" on the front page of the Oklahoman's Sports Section the next morning. In the background, coming down the stairs with a plate of nachos, is yours truly.

He had a patented move where he would penatrate right to about the free throw line, jump stop, and shoot a jumper. He was fun to watch!

Awesome player, one of my top 5 Sooners.

Eduardo Najera, Corey Brewer, Hollis Price, Ryan Minor, and Blake Griffin.

Loved this kid. Big had it right, if he wasn't the toughest Sooner that I can remember, he was only second to Eduardo.

I'm partial to guards that can fill it up, and Brewer could do just that.
