I was in Kansas City this past weekend at the KC Hardwood Classic.

On Friday assistant Chris Crutchfield was in attendance. Then on Saturday, Kruger was there.

The two teams I noticing them watching the most were the Ray Jackson Rising Stars and Mo Kan Elite.

The Rising Stars have 6'10 Houston area center Dominic Woodson.

MoKan Elite has a pair of 2014 guards that OU are looking at it in Clayton Custer and Lourawls "Tum Tum" Nairn.

I saw Kruger getting on a plane to Vegas on Wednesday. Then saw Henson at the finals of the Bigfoot classic in Vegas. The teams playing were the Houston Hoops and Mac Irvin Fire(Chicago I believe?). The kid from Houston(Winslow?) is a stud! Houston came from behind to win in OT. Really exciting game. Who all is OU after on that team Sam?

Thanks, Sam!

Dominic Woodson is the big I want the most. I think he has the goods to be a star in college with the right coaching and in a situation that fits his style. Hopefully, he'll take a hard look at what Kruger and his staff did with Joel Anthony.

I've heard that OU is in on a top guard in the New York/New Jersey area. I wonder who it is.

Probably Shane Rector from the Bronx, heard OU was interested in an article, I'll try to find a link.

I wish I was a little 6'1" guy. I get what you are saying but from my perspecitve 6'1" isn't little. Little is Keyton Page or me.

Lol:vitale I meant for the position he will be undersized against the tall 6'4 point guards of the world

I saw Tum Tum play- I like his game a lot. I also like Andre Sands- very raw but active big man from the Bahamas. He's 6'8"- rebounds; plays strong defense; handles well. Shot is not good outside the paint, but nice to see a 6'8" guy play inside every once and a while. He's at Sunrise Christian in Wichita (I think). I talked to the coach there for a good bit. I was told after talking to him that the relationships at Sunrise Christian with OU were very strong. So something to keep an eye on for the future.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Buddy Heild a Bahamian Sunrise Christian alum? Sounds like he might help us out if we decide Sands is worth a look. Considering that Kruger offered 6'6 Grandy Glaze while at UNLV, he doesn't seem to worry about undersized guys in the post as long as they go hard and bring the Windex.

I LOVE the idea of a kid who's named for Lou Rawls but would rather use a nickname from 3 Ninjas. Just saying.

Pretty CLK recruited Williams to Illinois; maybe not a big deal...but can't hurt either.

Was at the San Francisco ProAm last week and saw the reincarnation of the Lavendar kid OU had a few years ago. Kiwi Gardner, guessing about 5'9, 140 lbs, a Providence signee with some grade issues. He tossed in 44 but then the opposite point guard was isiah Thomas of the Sacramento Kings who also threw down 44. This little guy can really play. Those 2 guys were guarding it other and it was a riot to watch.
Pretty good league with lots of West Coast college ex college, european league and semi pro players plus guys like Thomas and Tykeke Evens who drop in for a game from time to time.
