Wife just returned from team hotel workout room, said Isaiah Cousins was in there. "Doing what?" "Working on his ball handling." This team.

These guys are driven like no other group I can remember. Awesome stuff!

If we don't win on Saturday (or Monday), it won't be for lack of focus or effort. These guys have certainly worked their tails off, there's no doubt about that.

And as fans, we can't ask for any more than that.

I am going to miss Cousins.

Agreed 1000%. They're going to leave it all out there and will have a lot to be proud of, regardless of the outcome.

I'm not sure it's possible for me to be more proud of this team than I am right now. I mean that sincerely.

I'm with you, Ada. Every last one of them, on the court and off.

This group of players is very special to me. I feel a connection with them at a level I have never experienced before. And it's not just Buddy, it's all of them.

I'm excited about next year, but I'm going to be very sad when our seniors play their last game in an OU uniform.

Buddy is All Academic as well as Conference MVP, National MVP, All American and All Conference. To me that is something people are missing about this kid.

I agree. That's why I made sure to include it in the "half-assed" (according to WT) story that I wrote. I think it's a big part of his story.

To me it demonstrates his incredible motivation to excel. How many first round draft picks make good grades in their final year? Athletes that make really good grades is a fairly low percentage and I bet those that do it when they are assured of being a first round pick is really low.
