Coaches from Baylor, Louisville, and S. Carolina are in the gym to watch Lauren Cox and Natalie Chou.

I just don't see Cox at Baylor, Louisville, or South Carolina. I think it will be OU, Texas, Stanford, or UConn--perhaps Notre Dame.

Frankly, I wouldn't want a player who would sign with Mulkey.

Cox isn't looking at Stanford, I can't see her picking Baylor becasue they are deep in the post.

I just don't see Her at OU. Especially since we have mulkey
in 2016.

Mulkey is a reason that I see her at OU. It frees her up not to play post.

I saw a tweet from Cox where she responded to a question of which position she thought she would play in college. She responded, power forward. I think she wants the freedom to use her versatility, like a Candace Parker or Della Donne.

From what little I've seen, I really do think she is wide open to several schools. I just hope that Sherri is personally involved in her recruiting and she is making a concentrated effort to attend as many of Cox's games as possible and she is getting to know Lauren and her family extremely well. I think there is a high degree of probability that whichever coach takes the time to get to know Lauren personally will have the best chance of signing her. Lauren is VERY close to her family, especially her sisters. I think geography helps OU as I think there is a good (60%) chance she stays within 250 miles from Flower Mound. Of course, it also helps TCU, Baylor, Texas, and A&M.

Lauren is a program changer. Sherri can never do too much in the effort/time she spends recruiting her.

Cox is making a trip to Louisville this weekend.

Yup for there game vs Unc, I thought it was last weekend, but was wrong. It would have been nice to have someone from OU there, we do have a game vs Baylor in Waco.

TX Elite adidas Natalie Chou led Plano West HS w/19 points to clinch first place in District 6-6A with 60-50 win over Flower Mound HS.

Lauren had 31 pts, 17 reb, 2 blks, 4 asst, and 4 steals last night.

I haven't seen her play yet! How skilled is she SoonerNorm???

I have only seen her play online but, she seems like a Candice Parker or Della Donne type player. Tall, good mobility, good shooter, good rebounder, and shot blocker. She is the #1 ranked player in the 2016 class. She would be a program changer if we can sign her because other top players would start giving OU strong consideration. She has said she wants to play PF in college and I think that is where most coaches would allow her to play. If she plays with a really good PG and center, she will be outstanding.

I've seen her but never seen her play. She is a huge young woman!!! I'm thinking at least 6'6 and thick!!!

Think McKenna Treece. Now, think a little taller and stronger, strong enough to dominate the boards. She actually looks a lot like McKenna on the floor. She has good footwork. She has a short jumper that is pretty accurate. Mostly, she shoots three to five footers that hit the boards and go in. Very strong offensive rebounder.

I haven't seen her films or in highschool. I did watch her play a game in the finals against Spain. Their guards ate the US guards alive, but they had no answer for Cox. We had Holmes, but she was way off her game. It was Cox vs Spain. Cox won it with a last second shot. She is very physical.
