Cox and Chou

Lauren is not a great 3pt shooter, a weakness in which Taylor Roberts just happens to excel. :)
 
Just chanced across this thread. Upthread, Norm commented that in his opinion, Sherri couldn't do enough to woo Cox to OU, that she was program-changer, that Sherri needed to really bear down on recruiting her. So, on the game where Cox and Chou hooked up against each other, coaches from Baylor, S.Carolina, UConn, UCLA, NotreDame, Louisville were all on hand.

Apparently OU was a no-show. How's that for emphasizing her recruitment? :facepalm
 
I think Lauren knows that OU is interested.

Did anyone notice a Morgan Yancy?

I do not understand why OU does not recruit these players harder!?!? Not everyone wants to go to OU that's why you recruit to show what the university has to offer. Then at least the recruit can make an educated discussion if they would like to attend. If they don't then okay but at least give your program a chance to land a quality recruit!!!

We have one of top scorers in the nation (#4 Nation and #1 in Oklahoma 36.2 ppg. ) in Taylor Roberts from Oklahoma but I have not seen her in one picture when the recruits are at the games.

Cox the #1 2016 recruit in the nation enough said!!! It's mind boggling!:facepalm:facepalm:facepalm

I don't think OU recruits the same type of player that Baylor, Uconn does.
They tend to recruit girl basketball players, Sherri recruits girls that play basketball. Not meaning to speak bad of any of the OU girls.

To me her game is like michele van gorp, who player at Purdue then Duke, I think her calling could be as high as Lauren Jackson the great wnba star...

Great comparison. Especially since she hasn't even reached her full potential!
Built a lot like Lauren Jackson as well. Can't wait to see how she expands her game over the years.
 
It appears that she is receiving good individual coaching. As she gets stronger and improves her outside shooting, she will get better and better.
 
There is an indication on Twitter that Lauren had a dunk in her game tonight.

She was the best player on the court! She scored pretty much anytime she wanted and how she wanted! She would be a valuable asset to the OU!!!! My opinion!!!
 
Plano West is beating Flower Mound even though Cox has scored 19 already.
