It seems they continue to be world travelers and are starting out in the Euro season pretty strong. For those interested in following them this season, here are a few links:

Interesting that Courtney played all 40 minutes. Perhaps she has gotten into better physical shape and is taking the game more seriously than just trying to get by on her skills.

Side note: Marissa Coleman now plays for the Indiana Fever.

Thanks Euph...forgot all about her going there. I've been checking on DRob. I think she's still injured. She's signed to an Isreali team, but not playing yet.

Believe she lives in Norman in the off-season or she did in the past. And, no way, Ashley wouldn't want to play in the WNBA. Not in my opinion, anyway. The W is difficult and, if you don't get picked up and play right out of college, your chances of playing go way, way down. I am not sure Ashley has had a season like
this since playing professional ball. Another thing, like everything in life, there is some luck involved. Ashley could now be motivated by the fact that Courtney did better this past season and that Amanda Thompson finally made a team and stuck for the entire season. Of course, I am not sure anyone wanted it as bad as Amanda. Well, just my musings.

Oh and my favorite player of all time for OU is Ashley, so if she wants it, would love to see her make a W team. Not that I really know any of them, but talked to her for half a second at a Tulsa Shock game about 3 years ago and she was just so personable and charming without trying.

Agree...and I think the big key is "if she wants it". It appears she has been quite satisfied with basketball in Europe and has done quite well. I believe she was the player of the year for one of the leagues a few years ago and is currently doing quite well in Russia. Agree again about the "W". The opportunities are few and far between.

In Europe the players make considerably better money than all but a very few in the WNBA. Under those circumstances, I'd play in the old country too...

CParis' team Istanbul University has made it to the next round of EuroCup, which is seperate from league play in Turkey. She had a great game vs Dolson from UCONN. CP had 21 pts (5-5 FT's), 19 rebs, 1 ast, only 1 foul, 3 steals, 4 blks and 3 to's. Dolson had 13 pts and 3 rebs.

Over in Russia, AParis' is 8th in scoring in the league and first place rebounder.

I was just going to mention the European salaries. Aren't they in the $200,000 range per season or more? Frankly, I wouldn't bother with the WNBA if that is the case. That's a comfortable, but not extravagant lifestyle in Europe.
