It could not have happened at a better time. The OU team is playing their best basketball right now, and Sam is a big part of that.

Dang, they play hard and look very well coached.

His first three point attempt against Baylor was very reminiscient to the way Mookie Blaylock would set up his shot in a slow methodical manner.

We really needed someone to step up offensively. I still think/hope there is a chance Cousins can find a way out of his funk. If he can give us something and Hield can somehow make it back we could a very tough out in the NCAAs.

Hornbeak is playng alot better than he was 30 days ago.

Yes. Showed a lot of toughness coming back in and playing well after his fall against Baylor. He reminds me more and more of Hollis, esp now that they each have a 'tooth' incident.

I know he lost his 2 front teeth but it sure seemed like they reached down to pick more than 2 things. Makes my teeth hurt to think about it.

Sam has done a magnificent job of earning his starting role back. This is the Sam OU Nation thought they were going to get last year. Sometimes it just takes a little time to get players to play to their potential and Sam is a great example of coaches not giving up on a player. We fans need to take note of this lesson.
