I really feel Texas and Baylor are both going crazy with the over recruiting 1 position. Texas has to many guards with no real bigs on the horizon and Baylor with the total opposite by taking in all the post they have. I personally think it will open up more transfers on the girls side.
Texas can't play Joyner at a post and i feel Karen will have to get a little more creative with the offense. Even watching them now they are predictable on the offense side of the ball, this may be why they aren't scoring as much as they should.
Baylor will have a few unhappy kids being that Mulkey will find the kid who plays hard for her and play her 30 minutes a game. She will have a total of 4 high profile post to have come in the last 2 years so someone will not be happy.
The bottom line, both Texas and Baylor needs to make sure they recruit the right way for 2017 or they may take a step back. Would be great if you could make trades in college....lol. Baylor could send Texas a couple of bigs and Baylor could receive a couple of guards. At the end of the day i think Kim is set up to come out on top here, just because the 2017 class has some great guards in the state to where as Karen really has no bigs to choose from in state.
Everyone knows what you are getting with Cox and if you go back to her thread on here, you will see where i compared her to Holmes and spoke of both there weaknesses. Chou i think will be good in college but am not sure she is Mulkey type of player. She needs a lot of work on defense and Mulkey is big on playing hard, so that is a wait and see. At the end of the day both schools are getting 2 McDonald's all Americans but how will they fit
