Averaging 16 points, 3 assists, and 2 rebounds per game for the 13-0 Arkansas Fort Smith Lions. Shooting 50% from the field, 45% from 3, and 80% from the line.

Nice to see him transfer out and play a lead role somewhere. Lots of guys could learn that lesson.

Hopefully they have a spot for Lazenby, too!

I keed, I keed.

Congrats to Strong! Happy for the young man!

Can't wait to watch him here soon in Wichita against Newman. Fort Smith is always real solid. They get guys that should't be playing D2 a lot of times.

In crazier news, Frank Booker is So Carolina’s 2nd leading scorer.

I'm not surprised he's scoring well; I'm surprised he still has eligibility.

I really liked Strong, fully understand why he left though. Good for him

Didn't he have an operation to fix his shoulder? He really wasn't that bad, but wouldn't have seen the court with Trae and Sheperd in front of him. I'm glad he's doing well.

My son played baseball at CCC when strong was there...wasn't the best "student" not that is why he moved on..Obviously TY coming in...just saying not sure D1 academics were his strong suite.

glad he is playing and doing well. Newman is my alma mater....Potter was coaching..think he retired, was a player when I went there.

And he's finally shooting the ball well! Glad he appears to be finally putting it all together.

Looks like Booker grad transferred from FAU. When I saw South Carolina I thought to myself, how the hell did I miss him on a final four team?

Heck I am too. Received my graduate degree from Newman (a long time ago). Used to play men’s league golf with Potter back when I was in KS. Good dude who overcame a lot. Glad to hear he is doing well.

Good to hear about Frank and DSM.

LOL, I think we've talked about this. I had classes with him when he played there. I was assistant coach of a KC HS team, we use to play in the Valley Center tourny in Jan, I had contacted him and we used the gym for a practice one day...about 4 or 5 years ago.

I was at Newman '84 to '87. The bball team played at Century II at the time.

My good friend was provost at Newman for years. Just left a few years ago to take the same position at WVU I believe.

You are right. I remember now. Sorry!! He has been going to all of their games this year. Newman is a tough place to win at. I think they are undefeated in conference play so far.
