Harden started for LSU and had a monster night. 20 points (4-6 BTA). We may face them in the WNIT (I believe) should we both advance far enough.

I really hated to see Harden go. I thought she had some DRob quickness.

Raigyne Moncrief has also been playing well for the tigers.

Harden demonstrated outstanding ability when she was here. But, she was worse than DRob as a freshman in trying to hit a post in the fifth row. She had no idea where her passes were going.

There was also a little bit of a "want to" problem. She dove for a ball that was going out of bounds against Odyssey Sims. She had a little bit better position. But, Sims was more aggressive, put her weight into it, tried harder. They actually called a foul on Harden when she got to it just after Sims, but it went off Sims out of bounds. If Harden had wanted that ball as much as Sims, she would have been a keeper.

I'm not sure how anyone can tell anything about a player's "want to" from just one play.

I believe Harden is playing the 2 guard with the opportunity to take the point... I believe she went 4 for 6 from bta. I agree with SoonerNorm on the hustle play..

The only way we would face LSU is if they make it to the finals, they are on the opposite side of the bracket and would have to beat Louisville, which is certainly possible.

Moncrief had 10pts and 6 assists. J Washington for NC was 1-7 for 7pts. Kai James for FSU 4-11, 8pts. All start for their teams.

Having watched James vs Shaya, I was interested to see how they compared in rebounding. These are their stats:

James Kellogg
24 11 Minutes
11 3 Field Goal Attempts
4 1 Field goals
2 0 Free throw attempts
0 0 Free throws
1 4 Offensive rebounds
3 1 Defensive reboungs
4 5 Total rebounds
0 0 Assists
2 0 Turnovers
4 1 Blocks
1 1 Steals
2 1 Personal fouls
8 2 Total points
UNC Greensboro
Stetson

This is one game. It is interesting that it might have been predicted based on what they did in the all star game against each other. James probably had the edge in blocks. But, Shaya had the edge in rebounding. I am surprised that James outscored Shaya since she wasn't effective as a scorer in that game. James played twice as many minutes. Neither was a starter.

I judge it based on one move... leaving OU :(

We could have really used her during our injury ridden season last year. Alas, it wasn't meant to be, so good luck at LSU unless we play em I guess. Especially good luck when they play Mizzou and Texas A&M. Traitors

Harden was the SEC player of the week. She scored 39 points in their first 2 games of the WNIT.
