This board goes crazy win or loss after every game, if we win, its we are NCAA bound. If we lose, its we need, this, need that, recruit this or that... etc.

Basketball season is a long season, there are peaks and valleys, you cant get too high on wins or too low on losses.

Just relax, LC knows what he is doing, its going to take some time!

What is Kruger doing exactly? Having to come from behind against crappy teams. I was at the game last night, SFA isn't very good.

You can't go from crappy players to NCAA in 2 years unless you get a super recruit. It happens but not all the time.
Turning around programs takes time! It's not easy.

I think our freshmen will be light years ahead in a year. We've got some talent on this team, and that will continue to get better and better.

500 wins is pretty impressive though!!! :krugs

Our freshmen will be...unfortunalty we lose our top 2 players and Fitz and replace him with ??? (juco players that most likely won't do a thing). So you expect us to be better next year??? Not going to happen.

It takes a lot longer to build a program back than it takes to destroy one. Capel destroyed one in 2 seasons so it may take 3 or 4 to get it back to what we want. Not to mention when Kruger took over we had very little talent on the team (2 decent players, 1 of which had never played for OU; Osby and Pledger) and a number of players with major deficiencies (Neal, Clark, Fitz, Washington, etc.).

I bet by the end of next season we will have all forgotten about Pledger and Fitz and probably Ro. Lon is the man. He's light years ahead of the previous coach.

You're right, we'd be better off with Capel.

It takes a lot longer to build a program back than it takes to destroy one. Capel destroyed one in 2 seasons so it may take 3 or 4 to get it back to what we want. Clean up? Take your goggles off and look at what he is bringing in. What player or players is going to take us back to the program we were when we made it to the ncaa tournament in 08

Interesting you pick 08 as the only season you want us to equal or surpass. In that season, we had 12 losses and 9 of them were by double-digits. Including a 30 point loss in the 2nd round of the NVAA tourney and we had the best player on the court.

Before the current group of frosh are done, we will at a minimum surpass the 08 team and their accomplishments.

Agree with all of this but Ro - would've loved to have seen him on some of those talented Sampson teams. He would be a great role player or even maybe 6th man on a good team who is being asked to do a lot here.
