These guys will be playing their 6th game in 10 days with travel thrown in. If we get up and down the court early, I don't know that they'll have any gas left in the tank.

Smith has played 80 minutes, and Pierre has played 78 minutes in the last two games.

They didn't show any signs of fatigue tonight; I'm not prepared to count on them doing so on Sunday.

Playing that many games in such a short amout of time will eventually take its toll on Dayton with their short bench. It would be great to run them out of the gym on Sunday. Our guards need to be solid offensively, but even moreso, defensively they have a challenge ahead of them.

Play good D early, go inside early and bang them around. Then, Buddy needs to finally have a good shooting day from deep and we put it to them early. That will take the crowd out

What travel? They get their third straight home game to start the tournament.

Yeah travel is not a factor since they were placed at home by the committee. But their coaches are telling them 1 more game. If they beat OU they get a week off. It's all about digging deep. The Sooners definitely can't bank on them being fatigued.

going to a lot tougher to keep them from getting into the lane the way we did in the second half to albany. perimeter defense needs to be on point against scooch.

As an OU fan, I'm used to it by now

This team also built a 19 point halftime lead in Ames and erased a 20 point deficit and had a 4 point lead with 4 to go in Lawrence, we should not let the crowd affect us too much. Now the refs, however, could let them affect their whistle blowing skills

Re: travel - back from Brooklyn where they played the a-10 tournament.

Nor am I. Dayton has the type of team that can give OU fits: undersized, athletic and quick. They're a poor man's Iowa State.

Anyone who thinks some of our players had trouble staying in front of Albany's players on defense, it could be worse when we play Dayton. I'm not saying OU can't win that game. But, I don't agree with those who thought the Flyers would be a better match up than Providence.

We didn't have trouble staying in front ... We had trouble with their motion and sets.

Whether OU wins or not will have zero to do with Dayton's "fatigue" IMO

The results are the same: too many layups and easy shots. Dayton ran similar sets against Providence last night to take advantage of their athleticism and quickness.

OU can beat the Flyers. But our players will need to do a better job with their help defense than we saw against Albany. Dayton is a better team.
