From Wilkinson to Sampson - The team that plays the best defense wins. Our defense is suspect. We allow more points agains us than any other Big XII team allows. If that doesnt improve, we probably wont reach the Final Four. We dont play well against a good defense.

We're 5th in FG% defense (conference games only), which is a better indicator of how good a team is defensively. No great by any means but not terrible. We have negative rebound and turnover margins. I think they're the bigger culprits, although we have certainly declined defensively this season.
